“I wish I could silence my thoughts, but I can't, and I won't.” – Desmond Tutu
As the saying goes, “If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.” In moments of profound darkness, when we grapple with the uncertainty of will and will be, we often yearn to escape our reality. We may attempt to bury our true selves in distractions, longing to forget who we are. Yet, sometimes, that inner voice refuses to be silenced, and the fire within us becomes impossible to extinguish. No matter how desperately we wish for relief, suppressing that flame requires cunning and effort. But what value does it bring to the world to live as an empty shell of our true selves?
Let your fire burn brightly; let your voice resonate. Regardless of our trials and tribulations, we must gain the courage to embrace our true selves and rise above the limits imposed by life’s obstacles.
