Matthew 5:26
"Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court. Otherwise your opponent will hand you over to the judge, and the judge will hand you over to the guard, and you will be thrown into prison. Amen, I say to you, you will not be releseasd until you have paid the last penny"

While reading the verse, i came across not just forgiving the person but reconciling with the person. Now I ask, what is the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation?
It takes the grace of God to forgive someone. It's very especially if we are being hurt by the people we consider very dear to us. Reconciliation on the other hand goes way deeper. It's being at peace with that person and even much more.
So in other words, keep in mind that forgiveness of another is very essential and should never be withheld. It is also not enough, the ultimate goal should & must be reconciliation.
